Certificates

Disig, a.s., as a trust service provider, issue certificates of various types within the meaning of Regulation (EU) No. 910/2014 of 23 July 2014 on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market and repealing Directive 1999/93 / EC and Act No. 272/2016 Coll. on Trusted Services for Electronic Transactions in the Internal Market and on Amendments to Certain Acts (Trusted Services Act).

Certification authorities operate by Disig, a.s., are issuing the following types of certificates:

  • S/MIME Certificate
    • Certificate for signature
    • Certificate for seal
  • Authentication Certificate
    • Certificate for signature
    • Certificate for seal
  • TLS certificate

Certificate for electronic signature

Certificate for electronic signature means an electronic attestation which links electronic signature validation data to a natural person and confirms at least the name or pseudonym of that person. [Article 3 (14) Regulation (EU) No. 910/2014 (eIDAS)].

A certificate (public key certificate) is an electronic attestation by which the certificate issuer confirms, that the public key mentioned in the certificate belongs to a natural person whose identity is stated in the body of the certificate unless it is used a pseudonym.

It can be issued for a natural person as S/MIME or Authentication Certificate.

Certificate for electronic seal

Certificate for electronic seal means an electronic attestation that links electronic seal validation data to a legal person and confirms the nameof that person. [Article 3 (29) Regulation (EU) No. 910/2014 (eIDAS)].

A certificate (public key certificate) is an electronic attestation by which the certificate issuer confirms, that the public key mentioned in the certificate belongs to a legal person whose identity is stated in the body of the certificate.

It can be issued for a legal person as S/MIME or Authentication Certificate.
